C.A. LAPLAP or CHRISTIAN ANDREI NUEZ LAPLAP is an author who graduated from the University of the Philippines Cebu with a degree in BA Psychology.
He is an Awardee of Excellence in the World Youth Essay Competition (WYEC) 2018 for his essay, Schrodinger’s Children, in Germany, a winner in the Editor’s Choice of the Hammond House Literary Prize 2020 for his short story, The Oddity That is Them, in the U.K., a regional winner in the CHED ASEANWave 2022 poetry category with his poem, entitled, Land, in the Philippines, an author of Yes, You, and No, I, poetry collections, and Miserable People, Miserable Company, a novel, published by 8Letters Bookstore and Publishing in the Philippines, and an essay winner in the Association for Philippines and China Understanding (APCU) Essay Contest 2025 entitled, The Right Road.
He is currently an instructor at the Cebu Technological University- Main Campus and continuing further studies in University of San Jose- Recoletos trying to attain a degree in MS Psychology (Social Psychology).
