trauma doesn't necessarily manifest itself outside. sometimes, it rots someone from within. just like rust, it can infest something seemingly sturdy from within until it can no longer withstand.

people are miserable. they are destructive, imperfect, and selfish. yet, there is still a collateral beauty: they still try to see good, be good. after all, you just need one out of a hundred reasons to continue, to cope.

misery loves company. 

together they alleviate the joint misery.

is their coping or alleviation of suffering through means of justice or means of revenge though?
